Bryce Canyon covered in snow is spectacular.
In November, during the week of Thanksgiving, I took a long awaited Road Trip through the Southwest. I had been thinking about doing this for at least two years. Having driven across the country 11 times and taken many long road trips in between, I was aching for another Domestic Adventure. So I saw a window of opportunity and took it!
My road trip started in Malibu to a clothing swap with friends, then took me to Redondo Beach where my dining buddy Melissa and I squeezed in a bonus Eat Your Face Off Weekend breakfast at Uncle Bill’s Pancake House. From there I went to Las Vegas to visit with my friends Tamra and Wendy – with a surprise cameo made by Jim Andersen – to honor the life of my dear friend and mentor, Ron Armstrong, who had passed on in August. The next day I drove about 3.5 hours to Bryce Canyon, just in time for a late afternoon hike along the rim. And these are the shots I snapped.
