INTERIOR DESIGN PORTFOLIO
Focus on family, learning, and light.
For this kitchen remodel in this 1940’s home in Oakland, I opened up what was originally three separate rooms, and created a large, open and connected space. The family can now enjoy each other’s company while doing different tasks such as cooking, working on homework, reading and relaxing, and eating meals in the dining room. It features a large wall of joyfully orange cabinets, across from a breakfast and learning nook, a large farm sink, Viking stove, coffee nook next to a smart refrigerator, kitchen island with lots of storage, eat-in bar, and a dining room with a restored hardwood floor. The new deck on the back of the house opens it up even more.
