This hidden gem is just south of San Jose.
I had driven past Henry Coe State Park hundreds of times over the course of twenty years or so before I actually went there ant got to know it. It is a sweet little gem of a park, just 20 miles or so south of San Jose, to the East of Morgan Hill. Who knew such an amazing place was so close to the metropolitan Bay Area? Gorgeous vistas, lovely hikes with manzanita and live oak trees, and the typical California landscape that I love so much. It was a lovely weekend. Here are a few snapshots.
