The Jewel of the Navajo Nation
The third stop on my Thanksgiving Road Trip 2017 was the gorgeous Monument Valley. This is not a National Park, but a park within the Navajo Nation. They have a visitor’s center and sell truck tours, but without paying any fees I just drove right onto the dirt road that snakes through this valley, and saw the amazing rock formations from the comfort of my own car.
