Whole30 Kale & Berry Smoothie

kaleberrysmoothie.jpg
  • 1 handful of chopped curly kale

  • 1/3 cup frozen mango

  • 1/3 cup frozen mixed berries

  • 1 cup coconut milk

  • 1 big scoop Nutiva Organic Superseed Blend

  • 1 scoop Pure Labs multivitamin

  • 1 Tbsp date paste

  • water to top off the vessel

Put all the ingredients In a bullet blender and blend for about 10 or 15 seconds, depending on how powerful your blender is and how smooooth you want your smoothie to be. Pour into a glass (or not) and enjoy!

Smoothies are kind of a freeform food, so don’t worry too much about the portions. My measurements are approximate. And if you don’t have both berries, just use what you have! As for the coconut milk, I would try not to substitute that, as nut milks often have loads of ingredients that aren’t Whole30 approved.

BTW, quick tip: I buy my frozen berries and coconut milk at the Dollar Tree. That’s right, the Dollar Tree! I’m on a budget, and these items are just as good as anywhere else. They’re just not organic. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
